For those who say that Corporate America treats everyone the same way, I would ask you to open your eyes and really watch what is going on. After 12 years at the executive level in a Fortune 50 Company, I can tell you that there is a definite difference in the treatment of the the two sexes.

Are you plagued by sleep deprivation? In the past forty years, the American obesity epidemic has risen from one in nine adults to one in three. Now consider that the same time frame has seen a decrease in the amount of sleep that Americans get, by up to two hours each night!
It’s not just an American problem either. The University of British Columbia recently conducted a study with grim results. Adults between the ages of 32 and 49 are significantly more likely to be obese, if they sleep less than seven hours a night!
What could be causing this alarming statistic? The culprits, caused by sleep deprivation, are two hormones called leptin and ghrelin.
Your energy intake and your energy expenditure are both regulated by leptin. Its primary purpose is to tell the brain when you’ve eaten enough.
